This is our second year doing the Christmas Activity Tree. I got the idea from my friend Sandie, you can read here some of her idea's. Last year Team Pipkin did these activities.
So first you go through your calendar & mark all the busy evenings.
On those days you want your activity/craft to be easy & simple.

So I got some cute holiday-ish scrapbook paper and make some strips.
Then I numbered them & labeled the activities.

and it's all complete and ready to begin December 1st.
And here are the activities we will be doing...
Day 1~ Make snowman ornament (craft kit from JoAnn's 50% off this week)
Day 2~ Christmas Tree Craft (from The Dollar Tree, I'm going to make a garland after we are done)
Day 3~ attend our local Christmas Tree Lighting Event (this will be our first time doing that)

I have the hard copy in my planner so I know in advance what we have planned. I will get the supplies a few days before, if I don't have it on hand. Do you do an advent activity like this with your family?
What are some of the activities do you have planned?

I love this idea!! I think Dave and I will have to try this out. Sometimes we both get home and are "bored" so all we do is catch up on our TV shows. This would be a lot more fun!
Love this idea ... we do something similar. This year we are also adding in a Random Act of Christmas Kindness each day that we are going to do ... I will be posting about that later on today.
Have a wonderful Advent season!!
Hi Nicole! I saw your comment on (in)courage that you live in Northern CA. So do I! I thought I'd stop by and "meet" you. :) I like your Christmas ideas! So sweet. :)
