Proverbs 17; a home without strife...

Lately the scriptures speaking to my heart are having to do with my home. With the holidays soon coming up, I want this peaceful calmness over my home.

Proverbs 15:1 (NIV) ~ A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger.

Proverbs 16:1 (NLT) ~ Kinds words are like honey~ sweet for the soul and healthy for the body.

Scripture:

Better a dry crust with piece and quiet

than a house full of feasting with strife.

Proverbs 17:1 (NIV)

Observation:

Its better to have day old food with everyone happy. Than fresh food and everyone angry and fighting.

Application:

I will try to keep the peace in my home.

Prayer:

Oh Lord, I pray that you are always watching over my family. I pray that you bring peace over my sons that they will get along. I lift them up to you Lord. You are in control.
