Scripture:The path of righteous is like the
first gleam of dawn,
shining ever brighter till the full light of day.
Proverbs 4:18 (NIV)
Observation:
That when you have wisdom it will guide you on the right path. You'll know it because the right path will be shining so brightly. Having wisdom & understanding will guide you in life. Wisdom & understanding comes from reading your bible daily. Setting time to have one on one with the Lord. It also comes from teachings from your parents, grandparents, other Christian people/friends in your life.
In my bible study group we are a large group (around 15 give or take) of women from different season's in life. Some are grandmothers, some have teenagers & others are just building their families. When I meet with them once a week & we go over our lesson; they just take my breath away. They are all filled with such wisdom & I learn so much from them. Their take on the lesson & what they got out of it. Sometimes hearing it from someone else & their point of view just sinks right in. I joined this bible study group over 2 years ago & I am so glad I did. The Lord lead me right to them. It was just what I needed in my season of life. They are truly blessings to me.
Application:
Like verse 5 says, "Get wisdom, get understanding". I am going to read God's word daily. I'm going to set time aside each day for him. I will build up my wisdom & understanding of his word. I want to know that when I see a path in my life that I will clearly see it shining ever so brightly.
Prayer:
Dear Lord, All your words and your instructions are right in in your book...the bible. I pray that each one of your passages guides me to wisdom & understanding. I want to walk in the path of righteousness. Thank you for your word Lord.
In Jesus Name~ Amen.
