Happy New Year's Everyone!
Thank you so much for following Team Pipkin this past year.
I have truly enjoyed your comments & cyber friendships.
Did you make any New Year's Resolutions?
Here are mine...
Spiritual Goals:
1.) To read the New Testament in my bible daily. Not sure on the reading plan yet. Like a chapter or two a day. BUT...I will circle the word "Joy" and keep track of how many times its in the New Testament.
2.) Also I will being an online bible study this month. We will be reading "A Confident Heart" by Renee Swope. She also will be hosting it. You can click on the link to join up. I am really excited about it. Truth be told...my heart is not very confident at times.
3.) I will continue to be in my women's bible study group from my church. We end in May. We are going through the book of Mark and using N.T. Wrights book "Mark for Everyone".
4.) Lastly...on my cellphone I have the YouVersion.com app and I am reading "Joyce Meyer's- Promises for your everyday life- daily devotional".
Financial Goals:
Since I won a blog giveaway and the prize was Dave Ramsey's Financial Peace University Membership Kit....we will be saving money in 2012. We are putting away the one & only credit card we have and ONLY use it for gas. We will not be eating fast food and this was a HUGE problem with us. We would spend almost $800 to $1000 a month of fast food. Usually on the weekends when we are out & about and get hungry we would just stop somewhere to eat. Having two grown son's that eat off the adult menu is very costly.
Business Goals:
To knit one item a week and list it in my Etsy shop. I have really slacked off and I need to just get crafty again. Maybe missing a few weeks to make something for my home.
Personal Goals:
1.) to learn how to sew.
2.) take one photograph a day weather it be from my cellphone or Nikon camera.
3.) be thankful. be grateful. be positive. be encouraging. be nice. be friendly. be the person God wants me to be....So I have 183 friends on facebook. Everyday I will go down the list (one person a day) and be thankful for that person. You have all impacted my life in the past, the present & going into my future. Some share encouraging words & sometimes other's are not so encouraging. But I guess there is a purpose for those people too.
4.) Do one craft project a month...just for fun.
Blog Goals:
1.) to do one blog post a day. Maybe some linking up to other big bloggers & things they host.
2.) to do a blog giveaway.
3.) this question is for you...What do you want to see on my blog this year?
and mainly this year...enJOY life!
